Rules and conditions of entry

1.      All ridden equines must be over 4 years of age.

2.      All stallions and colts over the age of 2 must be shown in a suitable bridle with a stallion disc and to be handled by competent handlers.

3.      Any being, horse, human or hound, that displays dangerous or unruly behaviour will be asked to leave.

4.      All dogs must be kept on a lead and all mess cleared up and taken away with you.

5.      All objections must be made in writing accompanied by a £50 deposit which will be returned if the complaint is upheld.

6.      Riding hats to the latest BHS standards and correct footwear must be worn at all times while mounted.

7.      It shall be deemed a condition of entry that the organisers, land owners and their agents shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to competitors, spectators, their property, servants or horses and ponies, however caused, on the show ground.

8.      All competitors and/or owners must have their own insurance which includes suitable public liability.

9.      The instructions of show officials and stewards must always be obeyed.

10.  In the event of the organisers having no alternative but to cancel or change the date of the event all entries will automatically be carried over to the next date, no refunds will be given.

11.  Entry fees will not be returned unless a valid vet or doctor certificate is provided before the closing date for entries.

12.  All entries are to be made in the fashion stated on the entry form. Entries made in a different form will not be counted.

13.  The closing date and time are stated on the form, entries received after this will not count.

14.  Entry forms that are not complete will not count.

15.  Should any signs of contagious disease be seen within 7 days following the event we ask that you contact the organiser immediately.
